About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a high-achieving SAIPA Graduate Accountant to join a well-established accounting, tax, and advisory firm in Menlo Park. This technology-driven practice is a member of a professional group that focuses on enabling economic potential and developing “accountants of the future” through exposure to advanced IT systems and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Delivery: Actively participate in all aspects of rendering services to clients, including the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
- Auditing & Assurance: Conduct audits and assurance engagements in strict compliance with professional auditing standards.
- Taxation: Assist with the preparation of tax returns and gain exposure to tax compliance and planning.
- Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings and liaise with stakeholders on various financial matters.
- Systems Utilization: Work within a cloud-based environment using advanced IT systems and procedures.
Requirements
- Education: Completion of a SAIPA accredited BCom degree (or at an advanced stage of completion).
- Professional Experience: Preference is given to candidates who have recently completed their SAIPA training contract at a small firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Caseware experience is essential, along with proficiency in tax software, eFiling, and MS Office.
- Academic Record: A strong academic record is required; candidates with poor university marks will not be considered.
- Language: Proficient in English (read, write, speak) and basic Afrikaans.
- Logistics: Valid SA drivers license, own reliable vehicle, and residency in (or proximity to) Pretoria for daily commuting to Menlo Park.

- Formal education/certifications: Completion of a SAIPA accredited BCom degree is required.
Salary & Benefits
- Starting Salary: Max up to R270,000 per annum for candidates with a completed degree and completed training contract.
- Performance Bonus: Participation in a performance bonus scheme, with details provided at the start of employment.
- Development: Mentorship from experienced Chartered Accountants and study leave for exam preparation.
- Work Environment: Flexible in-office working arrangements (no remote work) within a professional and supportive team.
