Job Description
This role is ideally suited to a commercially astute finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, and is equally comfortable in the boardroom and in the detail of financial execution.
Key duties:
Lead and support equity and debt funding processes
Build and manage complex financial models
Prepare investment memoranda and funding decks
Engage directly with:
Banks
Private equity houses
Infrastructure funds
Development finance institutions
Coordinate due diligence and funding execution
Support project finance structuring (SPVs, HoldCo structures)
Stakeholder engagement
Act as the primary financial interface for:
Investors
Lenders
Auditors and advisors
Present financial updates to senior leadership and boards
Partner closely with development and delivery teams

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in:
Project finance
Investment banking / corporate finance
Proven exposure to funding transactions and deal environments
Strong financial modelling capability
Commercially sharp and solutions-driven
Confident in investor-facing environments
Hands-on with a strong sense of ownership
Able to thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment
Entrepreneurial mindset with high accountability
Qualification:
CA(SA) / BCom Honours and strong commercial finance background with relevant experience
