About the Role
Swift Human Resources is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team in Western Cape, specifically serving Paarden Eiland, Montague Gardens, and Epping areas. We are looking for an experienced professional who can bring their expertise to deliver high-quality pipe fitting services.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair pipes and piping systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and regulations
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a pipe fitter
- National Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Valid Seta certification (if applicable)
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
