Western Cape: Quality Assurance Engineer posted by Communicate Finance

Build and maintain end-to-end automated test suites (functional, integration, regression, API) to ensure solutions meet business and quality standards
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Develop, design and maintain QA processes, including automation frameworks, test plans and test cases
Execute manual testing when needed
Define, track, and report quality metrics (defect density, test coverage, automation coverage)

Required Skills and Experience:
Proven software QA / test engineering, with a focus on test automation
Strong programming or scripting skills for automated testing (ideally C#)
Solid understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC and QA Practices
Familiar with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla or similar)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to clearly document findings
Great communication and collaboration skills
Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP)
Familiar with Selenium, Cypress and Pytest
