About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in the Western Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, general ledger management, tax compliance and audit support, while contributing to cost management, financial analysis and decision-making across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting and prepare management reports
- Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes
- Provide support for tax compliance and audit requirements
- Contribute to cost management and financial analysis
- Collaborate with operations teams to inform business decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 – 5 years’ relevant financial accounting experience
- Strong financial reporting, general ledger and tax compliance experience
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in other accounting systems
- Professional accounting qualification (advantageous)
