WatersEdge Solutions is partnering with a client to recruit a driven Business Development Representative to generate demand, qualify leads, and create revenue opportunities across a defined market. This role is ideal for someone with strong outbound sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with prospective partners.

About the Role

As Business Development Representative, youll focus on creating demand for platform solutions through outbound calls, email, social media, events, and targeted prospecting. Youll identify and qualify potential partners, maintain accurate CRM records, and hand over strong opportunities to the Account Executive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate demand through outbound prospecting, events, marketing activity, and targeted lists
• Make outbound calls to prospective accountants, bookkeepers, and enterprise subsidiaries
• Use phone, email, and social media to engage prospects
• Qualify leads and route opportunities to the right sales representative
• Research potential partners and identify key decision-makers
• Maintain accurate CRM records of prospecting activity
• Collaborate with sales teams to improve lead generation strategy
• Arrange and host events for prospective partners across South Africa
