Job Description
Hire Resolve, a trusted recruitment agency, is seeking a Tender Assistant to join a well-established construction company in Wellington. As a Tender Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the tendering process for Civil Engineering projects. This includes assisting with the preparation and submission of tender documentation, conducting research on potential clients and competitors, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth tender processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and submission of tender documentation.
- Conduct research on potential clients and competitors to gather information for tendering purposes.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including engineers, estimators, and project managers, to gather necessary information for tenders.
- Assist in the development of pricing and cost estimates for tender submissions.
- Review and analyze tender specifications, contracts, and other relevant documents.
- Maintain tender databases and document control systems.
- Support the tender evaluation process and provide recommendations based on analysis.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the Civil Engineering industry.
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Projects and Tender software (CCS).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of tendering processes and procedures is preferred.
