About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our 4/5-star boutique hotel in White River, Mpumalanga. As a live-in position, this role is ideal for a dedicated hospitality professional looking for a long-term opportunity within a growing and dynamic operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full operational management of the hotel, ensuring smooth day-to-day running while driving occupancy, revenue growth, and overall profitability.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and oversee financial performance including full P&L accountability.
- Manage reservations, sales, and agent relationships.
- Maintain high service standards.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team.
- Oversee food and beverage operations, including menu costing, maintenance, and property upkeep.
- Ensure compliance with all operational and legal requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a General Manager or senior hospitality leadership role.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Excellent people management skills.
- A hands-on, proactive, and solutions-driven approach.
- Strong understanding of revenue management systems and reservation platforms.
