Job Summary

Full accounting function to the balance sheet including Fixed Asset Register management Statutory compliance: SARS returns, VAT, PAYE, Provisional and Annual Income Tax Manage full payroll and all statutory payroll requirements Monitor monthly expenditure, variance analysis, and assist with budget preparation Handle South African Reserve Bank applications and exchange control queries Reconcile foreign creditors and payments Ensure internal controls and audit readiness Skills & Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in a financial accounting role with at least 3 years managing statutory, payroll, and financial accounting functions currently . Strong track record with SARS compliance (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, and related returns). Proven expertise in foreign imports, forex transactions, and exchange control. Skilled in reconciliation, supplier management, and monthly management accounts. Highly proficient in Sage Pastel Partner & Sage VIP Premier this is non-negotiable. Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability. Comfortable working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Job Summary

My client is a national business with a footprint that spans multiple operational sites across South Africa. They are expanding their finance department and seeking a Finance Administrator who can support the daily functioning of finance operations. This role involves handling business licence renewals, insurance and vehicle administration, processing payments (local and international), and ensuring that all financial documentation is up-to-date and correctly maintained. Youll work closely with various departments to keep things aligned and compliant. Its an ideal role for someone who is organised, works well under pressure, and wants to grow within a structured finance team. Requirements: Assisting with licence renewals for operating branches Managing insurance documents and vehicle paperwork Processing payments, including forex and royalty transactions Handling applications for mobile phones, fuel cards, and bank cards Assisting with opening new store accounts and preparing contracts Keeping records organised and up to date What do you need: Grade 12 and an administration or finance certificate 12 years’ experience in a finance or office admin role Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) Good communication and planning skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently APPLY NOW! Job Summary

Manage the full accounting function through to balance sheet , including maintaining an accurate Fixed Asset Register. Prepare monthly management accounts, variance reports, and financial insights to support decision-making. Contribute to the budgeting process and compile cash flow projections . Analyse financial data to provide actionable information for budgeting, cost control, and investment decisions. Handle VAT reconciliations and compliance , ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Oversee foreign creditor reconciliations, payments, and reviews , as well as SARB applications and exchange control queries. Manage and reconcile supplier invoices, payments, and queries . Ensure banking, payroll, and cash controls are accurate and efficient. Run the full payroll function and manage all statutory requirements. Address customer account queries and manage handovers where needed. Assist with tax returns, Companies Act compliance , and year-end audits. Support the development and implementation of internal controls and new financial procedures.Collaborate closely with the Financial Manager on projects and process improvements. Skills & Experience: Minimum 510 years solid experience in a Financial Accounting role with proven ability to manage the full accounting function to balance sheet. Hands-on expertise in reconciliations, VAT, and supplier management, with a deep understanding of statutory compliance (AFS, tax, and audits). Demonstrated experience in handling foreign currency transactions and SARB exchange control requirements forex knowledge is essential. Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with Sage Pastel Partner and Sage VIP Premier (non-negotiable). Strong background in financial and costing analysis, with the ability to provide clear insights to guide strategic decisions. A track record of thriving in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, juggling multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy. Strong technical accounting skills with a sharp eye for detail. A confident communicator who can work across teams and provide clear financial insights. Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a 12-month contract. If you’re sharp with numbers, thrive in a high-performance team, and are ready to make an impact in a fast-paced and evolving business, this is your chance to step into a high-value finance role in a global group. What You’ll Be Doing: Perform full month-end close processes and reconciliations to strict deadlines Calculate and submit tax and VAT returns Process accruals and prepayments Manage intercompany and intergroup billing and reconciliations Handle monthly foreign exchange revaluations for foreign currency balances Prepare statutory, regional, and brand-specific financial reports with commentary Run weekly/monthly open item reports and follow up on long-outstanding items Assist with audit preparation (quarterly, half-yearly, and annual) Draft process notes and assist with documentation of internal control procedures Work closely with Treasury, Recons, Statutory, and other accounting teams Communicate with stakeholders, manage expectations, and escalate issues timeously What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3-5 years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience with SOX compliance and/or internal controls Advanced Excel proficiency Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work across teams with a clear focus on outcomes and deliverables Why You Should Apply: If you’re looking to contribute meaningfully to a fast-paced, values-driven finance team, this role gives you the platform to manage key financial functions while being surrounded by energetic, driven professionals. Are you a detail-oriented Financial Accountant with a passion for start-ups and international finance? You will be a dynamic professional with ability to manage bookkeeping and financial administration across three global entities. If you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, excel in financial analysis, and can navigate IFRS and the Companies Act, I want to hear from you! Responsibilities: Manage supplier loading Manage supplier invoice processing Manage supplier statement reconciliations Manage and prepare supplier payment run loading (as per terms) Load POs and outstanding PO reporting Oversee sales PO tracking and reconciliation to customer billings Oversee monthly review of all accounting entries Oversee international relating party billing and account reconciliation Manage monthly management accounts reporting Manage monthly stock movement reconciliation Manage stock and debtor reporting fortnightly Manage calculation of interest and repayment schedules Manage monthly debtors meeting pack preparation Ensure monthly aging is sent to credit insurance Manage fortnightly debtors aging review meeting Manage and oversee of audit process Manage budget preparation Manage monthly journal processing Manage international relating party billing and account reconciliation Manage monthly stock movement reconciliation and adjustments Support calculation and submission of VAT Manage monthly debtor statements distribution and collection Requirements: Relevant Finance Degree or Diploma Min of 2- 4 years’ experience as an Accountant preferably in a medium scale enterprise (SME) Proven ability in providing accurate financial reports, insights, and analysis Knowledge of VAT and other tax legislative requirements locally, and in international jurisdictions Knowledge and prior exposure to international entities, foreign currency, and inter-company transactions Please note if you have not heard from us in 2 weeks from application, please consider yourself unsuccessful – please do continue to follow us online and apply for suitable roles.

Job Summary

My client is a well-established company with a national footprint, operating in a fast-paced, structured environment. Theyre looking for a hands-on accountant who will manage financial reporting, ensure compliance with tax legislation, and support external audits. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who understands the importance of accuracy, process, and professionalism in financial operations. Youll have exposure to various areas. From fixed assets and reconciliations to tax, VAT, and reporting. Requirements: Record and reconcile fixed asset transactions monthly Manage month-end close and ensure accurate journal entries Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations Submit VAT and income tax returns within legal timeframes Compile annual financial statements and support audit processes Ensure all accounting records meet legislative and internal requirements Review supplier invoices and assist with payment approval What do you need: A diploma or degree in accounting or finance 3 to 5 years experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role Strong working knowledge of Excel and accounting principles Experience with South African tax laws and reporting standards Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable managing month-end pressures Able to work well on your own and collaborate within a team APPLY NOW! Our client is searching for a sharp, detail-driven Financial Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced team in Cape Town Central . Whats On The Menu: Managing the fixed assets and overseeing month-end reporting Maintaining the general ledger with pinpoint accuracy Ensuring full income tax and VAT compliance Preparing financial statements and ensuring regulatory compliance Collaborating with various stakeholders across departments The Perfect Recipe for Success: Diploma / Degree in Accounting or Finance 3 years experience in a similar financial accounting role Retail or FMCG experience would be advantageous Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, and data models) are second nature to you Ready to Take a Bite of This Opportunity?
