About the Role
Our manufacturing client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Engineer with 5+ years experience to join their team in Blackheath, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be an SA citizen with a Millwright / Mechatronics Engineering qualification able to work MS Office to produce reports, provide support as well as test, write and validate technical information. You must also have a valid passport for international travels.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and after-sales support
- Write and validate technical documentation
- Develop and maintain a database of technical specifications
- Supply technical information to marketing, sales, spares, and customers
- Participate in projects and research initiatives
- Conduct testing and validations
- Deliver training sessions
- Travel nationally and internationally for training, projects, commissioning and fault finding
Requirements
- Millwright or Mechatronics Engineering qualification
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Technical / Manufacturing environment
- Strong hands-on ability with a passion for producing detailed written reports
- Excellent planning, organisational and client interaction skills
- Business English proficiency (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Solid attendance record with sound references
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong adherence to quality, health and safety standards
- Valid driver’s license and passport
- Live in Western Cape
