About the Role
Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of milling equipment in a food manufacturing environment. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Tradesperson to join our team, responsible for ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of milling equipment
- Work closely with production team to reduce downtime and maintain quality standards
- Manage stock control and parts inventory
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate or NQF 4 equivalent
- Trade Test Certificate
- Minimum 3 years post-trade experience in a similar field
- Strong mechanical and manufacturing skills
- Food manufacturing experience is a bonus!
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
- Ability to work under pressure and think critically
- Manual dexterity and solid electrical/mechanical knowledge
- High-tech aptitude and tool proficiency

- Trade Test Certificate (required)
