About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the full function of our company’s Human Resources Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with implementing new HR systems, policies and procedures as required
  • Carry out regular HR audits to ensure legal compliance i.t.o LRA, BCEA and all relevant employment laws
  • Ensure the company’s Employment Equity & Skills development compliance is aligned with business objectives – submit annual reports, conduct audits, facilitate forum meetings, prepare plans
  • Create HR Reports as required
  • Employee management – being first point of contact for employees on any HR-related enquiries
  • Managing of the recruitment and selection process
  • Manage and implement training programmes, employee wellness programmes and strategising employee development plans
  • Benefits administration – medical aids/pension funds liaison
  • Preparing and amending HR Documents where necessary, i.e. employment contracts
  • Assist with workforce planning
  • Run performance evaluations
  • Work in partnership with the payroll team to ensure smooth running of the monthly payroll process
  • Industrial Relations Management – compile disciplinary warnings, conduct investigations, arrange disciplinary hearings, prosecute in disciplinary hearing cases, compile CCMA packs

Requirements

  • Human Resources equivalent degree
  • 2 years experience in the Human Resources field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of Employment Equity & Skills Development
  • Payroll process knowledge
  • Industrial Relations experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to work under pressure, manage time and prioritise effectively

Salary: R20 000 – R25 000 per month (dependent on candidate’s experience)
