About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our HR function, you will be responsible for managing the full scope of our Human Resources Portfolio, ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full function of the company’s Human Resources Portfolio
- Implement new HR systems, policies, and procedures as required
- Conduct regular HR audits to ensure legal compliance i.t.o LRA, BCEA, and all relevant employment laws
- Ensure the company’s Employment Equity & Skills development compliance is aligned with business objectives – submit annual reports, conduct audits, facilitate forum meetings, prepare plans
- Create HR Reports as required
- Manage employee management, including being the first point of contact for employees on any HR-related enquiries
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Implement training programmes, employee wellness programmes, and strategising employee development plans
- Administer benefits, including medical aids/pension funds liaison
- Prepare and amend HR Documents where necessary, i.e. employment contracts
- Assist with workforce planning
- Run performance evaluations
- Work in partnership with the payroll team to ensure smooth running of the monthly payroll process
- Compile disciplinary warnings, conduct investigations, arrange disciplinary hearings, prosecute in disciplinary hearing cases, compile CCMA packs
Requirements
- Human Resources equivalent degree
- 2 years experience in the Human Resources field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of Employment Equity & Skills Development
- Payroll process knowledge
- Industrial Relations experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to work under pressure, manage time and prioritize effectively
