About the Role
The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to an organisation of similar size and complexity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical acumen, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of IFRS accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned to organisational objectives
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable reporting standards
- Manage financial controls, cash flow, and working capital
- Present consolidated financial reports to leadership and governance structures
- Oversee payroll processes for staff and third parties
- Ensure legislative compliance relating to remuneration and payroll practices
- Provide strategic financial leadership across procurement and supply chain operations
- Collaborate with leadership on long-term operational and supply chain strategies
- Manage SARS submissions, CIPC filings, and external audit processes
- Uphold sound governance principles and financial controls
- Oversee internal audit functions and enterprise risk management frameworks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / BCom degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Honours degree advantageous
- Minimum 68 years experience in a senior finance role within an organisation of similar size and complexity
- At least 35 years experience in a finance management position
- Relevant exposure to supply chain / procurement management
- Proven experience working with computerised accounting and financial systems

- CA(SA) advantageous (if applicable)
