About the Role
The Financial Supervisor position is a critical role in managing the financial and administrative functions of our petrol stations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in retail environments and filling station operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage financial and administrative functions to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Implement stock control measures to optimize inventory management.
- Manage cash flow effectively to minimize losses and maximize profits.
- Ensure operational efficiency through effective daily sales reconciliation and fuel stock system management.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including VAT and PAYE.
Requirements
- A financial Diploma or Degree from SAIPA or a similar institution.
- 35 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Previous experience in the retail environment and filling station operations.
- Advantageous previous experience in FMCG or fuel industry.
- Strong knowledge of VAT and PAYE regulations.
- Proficient in cash flow management.
