About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our North Johannesburg property, delivering exceptional ultra-luxury hospitality experiences that exceed guest expectations. The successful candidate will be responsible for curating and overseeing every aspect of the guest experience, driving operational brilliance, and fostering a culture of collaborative synergy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curate and oversee every aspect of the guest experience from arrival to departure
  • Uphold Michelin Key standards and elevate service benchmarks beyond expectation
  • Inspire and guide departmental leaders to achieve operational excellence
  • Safeguard the elegance of rooms, public spaces, and facilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Champion guest recognition, VIP experiences, and bespoke service recovery
  • Drive operational productivity, cost discipline, and revenue optimisation
  • Contribute to strategic budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning
  • Ensure compliance with governance, financial controls, and statutory obligations

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • A formal hospitality qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Operations Manager or Rooms Division Manager within a well-known international brand
  • Proven success as an Operations Manager / Director of Rooms / Senior Rooms Leader in an ultra-luxury or Michelin Key property
  • Inspirational leadership with sharp operational and commercial insight
  • Mastery of Rooms, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Guest Services operations
