About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our North Johannesburg property, delivering exceptional ultra-luxury hospitality experiences that exceed guest expectations. The successful candidate will be responsible for curating and overseeing every aspect of the guest experience, driving operational brilliance, and fostering a culture of collaborative synergy.
Key Responsibilities
- Curate and oversee every aspect of the guest experience from arrival to departure
- Uphold Michelin Key standards and elevate service benchmarks beyond expectation
- Inspire and guide departmental leaders to achieve operational excellence
- Safeguard the elegance of rooms, public spaces, and facilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Champion guest recognition, VIP experiences, and bespoke service recovery
- Drive operational productivity, cost discipline, and revenue optimisation
- Contribute to strategic budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning
- Ensure compliance with governance, financial controls, and statutory obligations
Requirements
- Grade 12
- A formal hospitality qualification
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Operations Manager or Rooms Division Manager within a well-known international brand
- Proven success as an Operations Manager / Director of Rooms / Senior Rooms Leader in an ultra-luxury or Michelin Key property
- Inspirational leadership with sharp operational and commercial insight
- Mastery of Rooms, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Guest Services operations
