About the Role

The Lead Process Engineer plays a critical role in developing and delivering effective process solutions for our organisation’s clients. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review client scope, technical information, and communications to determine effective process solutions.
  • Establish and manage workstreams, including test work, data analysis, and solution development through an auditable process.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and communication across disciplines.
  • Support various project stages, including PEA, prefeasibility, feasibility, execution, debottlenecking, and problem-solving projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to contribute to knowledge sharing and uphold high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • Proven operational and/or process design experience.
  • BSc Chemical Engineering degree.
  • Membership in ECSA, SAIMM, or other accredited organisation (preferable).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • CAD design skills (advantageous).
  • Knowledge of process simulation software (advantageous).
  • Hydrometallurgy experience (advantageous).
