About the Role
Join our premium restaurant team as a Barman/Barista in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the excellence of our fine dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate coffee machines and manage multiple orders efficiently
- Prepare high-quality beverages, including espresso-based drinks and specialty coffees
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly demeanor
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Manage cash handling and POS systems
- Work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Barista training/certification (preferred)
- Previous experience in a coffee shop environment
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing and espresso preparation
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate coffee machines and manage multiple orders efficiently
- Basic cash handling skills and familiarity with POS systems
Qualifications
- Bartending certification (advantageous)
Salary & Benefits
R6 000 – R12 000 per month, depending on experience.
