About the Role
A well-established and fast-paced organisation within the travel and tourism sector is looking to appoint an Accounting Specialist to join their finance team based in Boksburg. This opportunity is ideal for a BCom or Advanced Diploma-qualified individual with at least 3 years of accounting experience who enjoys working in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accounting transactions accurately
- Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Maintain the integrity of financial records
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Assist the broader finance team with ad hoc duties
