About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Receptionist to join our team in Bellville West. As the first point of contact for patients, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and efficient experience. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and process consent documentation
  • Create patient file and save documents (WCA/COID and private patients)
  • Follow up on outstanding documents
  • Import information received from the doctor and other documents on Goodx
  • Check and explain medical aid benefits
  • Check ICD 10 or PMB conditions, and sign patient forms
  • Create patient file on Goodx
  • Process payments and issue a receipt
  • Do rehab reports from Goodx once a month
  • Upload bills on COIDLINK
  • Reschedule appointments when necessary
  • Manage emails and schedule theatre list appointments
  • Manage office supplies and stationery

Requirements

  • Matric, or related qualification
  • 5 years of experience in an front office administrative role
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
  • Experience using GoodX or similar medical practice management software
  • Knowledge of medical aid procedures and authorisation processes
  • Understanding of COID / WCA administration processes
