About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver Code 10 contractor to operate our vehicles safely and efficiently in the Eastern Suburbs of Johannesburg.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Code 10 vehicles responsibly and safely
- Deliver and collect goods according to schedules and instructions
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance issues
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and transported correctly
- Maintain delivery records, trip sheets, and proof of deliveries
- Adhere to road traffic laws and company safety procedures
- Keep vehicles clean and in good working condition
- Assist with loading and unloading when required
- Report accidents, incidents, and delays promptly
- Ensure customer service standards are maintained during deliveries
Requirements
- Grade 12
- 5 Years experience in driving
- Clean criminal record
- Good communication skills
- Ability to plan delivery routes and meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid PDP (Please bring proof of qualification on the first day of work)
Salary & Benefits
- R40 Per Hour
