About the Role
The General Manager/Country Manager â Mozambique will be responsible for leading our organisation’s operations in Mozambique, fostering strong customer relationships, and driving business growth through innovative marketing and sales approaches. This role requires a deep understanding of our product offerings, industry trends, and local market conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a knowledgeable partner in discussions with clients, owners of family businesses, General Managers, buyers, and technical experts across various organisations.
- Develop and implement a distinctive marketing and sales approach focused on added value, generating innovative ideas based on customer needs.
- Deliver optimal solutions to both current and prospective customers, actively promoting our products and services.
- Foster strong customer relationships through consistent engagement and relationship-building activities.
- Network and build partnerships with key stakeholders in the industry.
- Provide proactive advisory support to Corporate, reporting customer-related issues and key market developments.
- Expand existing relationships and develop new client opportunities.
Requirements
- Extensive commercial experience within a B2B environment, particularly in investment goods.
- Leadership experience and strong communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (civil engineering preferred).
- Passion for the technical field.
- Proven strategic, analytical, and commercial capabilities.
- Experience in managing teams.
- Confidence in networking and adaptability in different situations.
