About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Estimator – Technical to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, costing, and technical review of engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, sub-contractors, and equipment
- Compile professional quotation documents for clients
- Assist with tenders, projects proposals, and cost breakdowns
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum 10 Years’ experience in estimating, costing role within a Fabrication, Manufacturing or Engineering Industry
- Proficiency in Computer Skills (EXCEL Essential)
- Strong technical review skills of engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and quotation document preparation skills
