About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller to join their team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial duties, ensuring accurate and compliant records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate financial records in line with IFRS
  • Journals, accruals, provisions, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports
  • SARS and CIPC compliance requirements and submissions

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting / Financial Accounting / Financial Management
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
  • Completed SAICA, SAIPA, or CIMA articles
  • 2-5 years’ experience working in logistics/shipping/freight industry
