About the Role

The Marketing & Events Coordinator Intern plays a vital role in coordinating and maintaining the company’s brand identity and promotional materials inventory. This includes coordinating and maintaining the intranet, which encompasses images, files, documents, as well as database maintenance. Reporting to the Business Growth Manager, the Marketing & Events Coordinator will be responsible for developing, creating, and implementing a wide range of activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting industry and product research
  • Copywriting, editing, and proofreading tasks
  • Ensuring corporate identity alignment, quality control, and successful rollout of marketing tasks
  • Assisting with product, project, and event planning, and coordination
  • Preparing reports and assisting in communication campaigns across all marketing channels and platforms
  • Marketing and Host Functionality & Coordination
  • Compiling Reports, pertaining to market research and competitor alignment as required
  • Distributing newsletters via a CRM System
  • Developing and maintaining all mailing lists ensuring they are kept up to date
  • Maintaining databases (employees and clients) in support of the team
  • Collating and preparing Portal content, updates, photos, and images in relation to the events
  • Planning & Facilitation of all events and career fairs, and Host Partner visits
  • Coordinate efforts to identify new host partners through the social media platform
  • Distributing marketing material and content
  • Preparing and ordering printed marketing collateral
  • Liaising with designers, developers, and suppliers
  • Coordinate and schedule all radio interviews and meeting invites for TV & social media interviews
