Job Description

Our client in the financial space is seeking a high-calibre Security Engineer to strengthen and secure its enterprise network and cloud security landscape. This role is critical in protecting high-value financial systems within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage FortiGate Firewalls (policy management, IPS, VPNs, SD-WAN).
Deploy and optimise Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) for secure internet access and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
Drive Zero Trust security initiatives across hybrid environments.
Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats and incidents.
Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations and internal governance standards.
Perform firewall rule reviews, risk assessments, and security hardening.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet and Zscaler technologies.
Solid understanding of network security architecture and cloud security controls.
Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments preferred.
Proven ability to operate in high-availability, mission-critical environments.
