Job Description
Were looking for a results-driven Aftermarket Sales Representative to join our Cape Town team. This role focuses on selling aftermarket parts, services, and solutions, growing customer relationships, and achieving sales and profitability targets.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Promote and sell aftermarket parts, services, accessories, rental offerings and service contracts
- Achieve sales, growth, profitability and GP targets within an assigned territory
- Develop new business through cold calling, prospecting and account conversion
- Manage and grow existing client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Conduct customer visits to assess needs and promote driver training, load testing and safe equipment operation
- Prepare and present quotes, sales proposals and contracts
- Provide product knowledge and technical guidance based on customer requirements
- Resolve customer queries, complaints and debtor-related issues
- Assist with cash collection and ensure sound financial management of deals
- Analyse market trends to increase market share and revenue
- Maintain accurate customer records and complete all sales administration timeously
- Prepare and submit sales reports as required
- Participate in team meetings, training and development initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Valid Code EB / Code 8 drivers licence
- Forklift experience OR forklift parts experience is a pre-requisite
- Proven experience in aftermarket sales, parts sales or a similar technical sales role
- Experience in customer relationship management and new business development
- Strong understanding of sales targets, margins and profitability
- Computer literacy (CRM systems, Microsoft Office)
