About the Role
Network Finance is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and close-out of electrical projects in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial/industrial electrical installations or power projects, with excellent leadership and team management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle: planning, budgeting, procurement, execution, and close-out
- Oversee LV & MV electrical installations, substations, generators, and renewable energy systems
- Develop and manage project schedules, resources, and cash flow forecasts
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with SANS standards, OHSA regulations, and quality requirements
- Conduct site meetings, progress reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Manage risk, variations, and contractual obligations
- Lead and mentor site teams, engineers, and subcontractors
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
Requirements
- BSc / BEng / BTech in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in electrical project management
- Strong experience in commercial/industrial electrical installations or power projects
- Knowledge of contract management (FIDIC / NEC advantageous)
- Proficiency in MS Project or similar planning tools
- Strong financial acumen and cost control experience
- Valid driver’s license
