About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Cash in Transit Manager to oversee our branch resources and procedures, ensuring that contractual obligations to our customers are met cost-effectively and that our stringent security procedures are applied across the branch. As a proven leader in security and operations, you will be responsible for continually reviewing and improving branch profitability and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the financial performance of CIT Services, including Gross Margin, Direct Wage, and Overheads control, and monitor fleet quality and standards.
- Effectively manage employees, including setting objectives, monitoring performance, and ensuring the CIT organisational structure is adequately staffed through effective recruitment.
- Oversee CIT Contracts, maintain high customer service levels, handle all customer queries and complaints, and undertake regular customer visits.
- Manage and monitor loss prevention/reduction procedures, ensure adherence to policies around risk, and maintain compliance with all relevant legislative requirements and Company standards.
- Be responsible for Health and Safety awareness and compliance at the branch.
Requirements
- Qualification: Matric, Business or General Management qualification (3-year tertiary qualification preferred).
- Certifications: PSIRA Grade B.
- CIT Experience: 3 years General Management Experience with Profit and Loss (highly advantageous).
- Skills: Managing Conflict, Communication (Written and Verbal), Negotiation skills, Computer literacy (MS Office), and Basic financial skills.
