About the Role

We are a leading national furniture removal company, 30 years in business, with a national footprint in all major cities. We service many high-end clients nationwide. We are a non-corporate company but serious about business. We have a mindset of continuously improving workflow and efficiency without red tape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and preventative maintenance inspections.
  • Responsible for receiving, dispatching and overall shipment management.
  • Ensure accurate administration of all load movements and storage.
  • Supervise warehouse staff and ensure safe stacking procedures.
  • Assist, supervise, and manage our furniture removal teams with the following:
  • Dismantling and assembling of office desks and workstations.
  • Crating and packing of high-value items and artwork.
  • Dismantling, assembling, and transportation of grand pianos.
  • Assist with minor woodworking repairs to possibly damaged items.
  • Supervise, manage, and uphold the work quality of our moving teams
  • Manage storage inventories, stock control, and upkeeping of our facilities.
  • Liaise with clients.

Requirements

  • Good mechanical knowledge and skills.
  • Strong carpentry and handyman skills.
  • Ability to enforce strict quality control measures, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to liaise with clients.
  • Computer literacy will be an advantage.
  • Code 10/ 14 drivers licence (beneficial but not necessary).
  • Forklift experience (beneficial but not necessary).
