Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end financial health of shareholder trusts, including the preparation of management accounts, advising trustees on tax efficiency, and overseeing all regulatory filings (CIPC, SARS, and Beneficial Ownership).
- Act as the primary liaison for overseas corporate service providers, monitoring international fund flows and ensuring seamless tax compliance across multiple foreign jurisdictions.
- Drive the operational success of commercial office spaces by managing lease agreements, tenant sourcing, and the underlying financial reporting and maintenance.
- Proactively monitor local and international tax law changes, engaging with specialist advisors to align internal processes and mitigate risk for the group.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Honors and Chartered Accountant (SA) designation is non-negotiable.
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-article experience within a tax-focused function or specialized financial services environment.
- Proven exposure to trust administration, offshore structures, or property management is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in advanced financial reporting systems and a deep understanding of South African and International tax regulations.
- Exceptional organizational skills for multi-entity management and the professional maturity to handle sensitive ownership information.
