About the Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Junior to Mid-Level Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Marketing team at a luxury hotel and conference centre in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a passion for visual storytelling, and the ability to create compelling visuals that align with our brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Create: Develop and produce high-quality graphics for digital and print media, including social media posts, website graphics, email campaigns, brochures, flyers, and advertisements.
- Assist in the creation of visual assets for presentations and internal communications.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to the various brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across all marketing channels.
- Collaborative Projects: Work with the Marketing team, especially the Marketing Co-ordinator, to brainstorm and execute creative concepts for campaigns and projects.
- Participate in team meetings to understand project requirements and deadlines.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our designs are fresh and contemporary.
- Provide insights and suggestions for new design strategies and improvements.
- File Management: Maintain organized files for all creative assets, ensuring easy access and version control.
- Prepare and deliver production-ready files for print and digital platforms.
Requirements
- Skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
Degree or National Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
