About the Role

Join Wild Dreams Hospitality as a Species Monitor in Zululand, where you will contribute to the conservation of Africa’s wildlife by monitoring priority species such as wild dogs, lions, cheetahs, and rhinos.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field monitoring of priority species using radio-telemetry and camera trapping techniques.
• Provide guided experiences for volunteers hosting at the research site.
• Maintain accurate records and data management skills.
• Collaborate with a small team to achieve conservation goals.
• Perform other tasks as required to support the success of the project.

Requirements

• South African citizen.
• N.Dip. Nat.Con. / BSc. Conservation Ecology or similar qualification is preferred.
• FGASA qualified with field experience, preferably in a Big 5 environment.
• Valid driver’s and PrDP license.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Excellent English communication skills.
