Requirements / Duties
- Experience selling Paving bricks, Kerbs and Precast concrete materials. Must understand our products
- Maintain relationships with existing customers through regular review visits and sales calls.
- Identify and visit new customers to introduce products and gain new customers.
- Gain product knowledge
- Attend site meetings and product meetings
- Deliver samples to customers
- Gathering of market and customer information and communicating this to management.
- Keeping customer database up to date.
- Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
- Checking the quantity of goods in stock.
- Recording order on order forms and on Sage Evolution.
- Follow up on orders placed
- Recording visits to customers on Sage Evolution Incidents.
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements.
- Proactively develop opportunities for all our products.
- Consistently meet and exceed targets set.
- Identify market trends and look how Vanstone can adapt to these.
- Assist with Office Sales enquiries and Tenders
- Assist with Saturday marketing campaign and or overtime
- Anything else your Manager requires you to do
