Our client has an opportunity available for an Electrician in the Durban area.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Minimum N3 (in the respective trade)
- Trade Test (electrical)
- 5 years post-trade test relevant experience
- Willingness to work overtime and be on standby duty
- Successful candidate must also have their own transport
- Knowledge and competent in the use and programming of PLCs
Duties:
- Diagnose and repair faults on low voltage transformers and equipment
- Inspect, test, maintain and commission high voltage transformers
- Maintain AC drive units
- Repair three phase AC motor control gear
