Job Description

Well established company based in East London are seeking an experienced Driver with some handyman skills.

The purpose of this role is to deliver and install office furniture.

INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have Grade 12
  • 3-5 years code 10 delivery experience
  • A valid code 10 drivers license with PDP

JOB SUMMARY

Deliver and install office furniture

  • Deliver in East London and the Eastern Cape
  • Maintain delivery vehicles
  • Assemble furniture on site
  • Understand layout drawings of where office furniture needs to be placed
  • Knowledge of power tools and carpentry
  • Receive stock from delivery vehicles in the warehouse
  • Load and check stock on your truck
  • Responsible for stock loaded on your truck
  • Good relations and communication with customer
  • Keep time record
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Protocols
  • Company terms and conditions
  • Work closely with Supervisor and Sales Consultants
  • Report issues on site immediately to the Branch Manager
  • Job requires overtime and nights out
  • Housekeeping and maintaining of tools and vehicles
