Financial Manager
R1.5m plus bonus
Cape Town
Excellent career opportunity with division of leading listed FMCG Group. Reporting into the FD you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing and reporting financial and management information. This role will be responsible for offering insights and financial advice that will facilitate best business decisions for the company.
Key performance areas
Manage finance team members providing guidance and training.
Review business budgets and forecasts.
Preparation of BBBEE schedules and scorecard on a monthly basis.
Ensure finance team completes monthly/quarterly deliverables in line with Group deadlines.
Review and approve monthly general ledger reconciliations.
Coordinates the preparation of the external audit materials.
Prepare and review financial reports for monthly management meetings.
Review weekly cash flow forecasts and evaluate and investigate variances.
Prepare annual tax return schedules and tax calculations.
Review and approve statutory statutory/government returns (example SARB returns and Stats SA)
Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
Qualifications and experience
CA(SA)
Proven experience as a Financial Manager with minimum 6 -8 years experience in a similar role, leading a team.
Consolidations
IFRS
Tax & VAT
SAP experience beneficial
