Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Night Auditor to join our team at a 5-star lodge in Pongola, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient financial transactions during night shifts, working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily cash and credit card sales
- Process and verify night audit transactions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or Finance advantageous
- 24 years experience in:
- Front Office / Reception
- Night Audit in a hotel or lodge environment
- Knowledge of safari lodge operations is advantageous
