About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Midrand, South Africa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective inventory management, and leading a team of staff to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
- Implement and maintain accurate stock levels and reporting systems
- Supervise and coordinate the work of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Analyze and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a med-large retail warehouse environment
- Proven people management skills, including staff supervision and development
- Valid forklift lift license
- Strong dispatch and stock management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
