About the Role

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of the Bowler Peoples Manual across all sites and oversee HR operations, while also driving talent acquisition and employee wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation and embedding of the Bowler Peoples Manual across all sites
  • Oversee HR operations including payroll, onboarding, compliance, and workforce planning
  • Manage performance frameworks and coach leaders on effective team development
  • Drive talent acquisition, L&D, succession planning and retention strategies
  • Champion Employment Equity, BBBEE, and employee wellness initiatives
  • Provide strategic IR support and oversee dispute resolution and disciplinary matters
  • Guide digital transformation initiatives, including the rollout of PaySpace

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operations or plant management, preferably within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and process improvement.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to implement and monitor KPIs to improve operational performance.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in Operations Management, Engineering, or similar.

About the Role

Hire Resolve is seeking a results-driven and highly organized Operations Manager to oversee all operational activities within our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure consistent performance and compliance with company standards
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, including production, procurement, inventory management, and quality control
  • Manage and lead a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure their success
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to address them
  • Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
