About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an exceptional Food and Beverage Manager for a luxury private island operation in the Caribbean. This senior, hands-on leadership role suits a dynamic hospitality professional with a passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences within a high-end resort environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Food and Beverage team, including training and development
- Drive exceptional guest interaction and build meaningful guest relationships
- Deliver personalised and memorable dining and beverage experiences
- Stay current with industry trends to enhance service offerings
- Implement and manage effective stock, inventory, and cost controls
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless island operations
- Uphold the highest service standards while fostering a positive and engaging team culture
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in high-end, resort-style Food and Beverage management
- At least 3 years’ proven experience in people management / leadership
- Previous experience within a quality 5-star resort or luxury property essential
- Extensive knowledge of beverage services, including wines, cocktails, and mocktails
- WSET Level 3 (or equivalent qualification)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and high-level computer literacy
- Proven experience with inventory control and stock management
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage cost control and cost of sales
