About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Administrator to join their team in the mining industry in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all HR-related tasks, ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing employee relations, and supporting recruitment and training activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and industry regulations
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain employee records and databases
- Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and procedures
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
- Coordinate and conduct employee training sessions
- Assist in developing and implementing HR programs and initiatives
- Handle employee relations issues and provide support to managers in addressing disciplinary matters
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing
- Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as needed
- Support the HR Business Partner in extracting compiling, distributing and record-keeping relating to daily, weekly, and monthly payroll and ad hoc HR reports
- Consolidate and compile various information required for reporting purposes
- Conduct internal audits on various HR processes
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator or similar role in the mining industry
- Knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Two to four years of relevant HR administration experience
Qualifications
- HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP, HRCI-SPHR) is a plus
