About the Role

The Operations Support role exists to serve as a crucial component in supporting the operation of our organization. As the central point of contact for all facilities support queries, you will liaise with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for supporting the business with planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance and quoted works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all facilities-related requests, including soft and hard FM.
  • Log, track, and manage service requests using a CAFM or helpdesk system.
  • Price and issue quotes for all planned and reactive jobs.
  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities by liaising with engineers, technicians, and service providers.
  • Generate reports on KPIs, SLAs, response times, and performance.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of tender submissions and maintain sales pipeline governance.
  • Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a helpdesk, customer service, or facilities management role.
  • Familiarity with CAFM systems such as Concept, Maximo, or ServiceNow.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office and Excel.

Qualifications

  • Background in Facilities Management or Business Administration (Desirable).
  • Customer service or FM-related certifications (Desirable).

Salary & Benefits

Salary: R25 000 – R32 000 p/m
