About the Role
We are seeking a creative and digitally savvy Videographer / Digital Content Producer to join our Marketing team at a leading field guide and conservation training organization. The ideal candidate will capture the magic of the bush, tell authentic conservation stories, and translate real moments into compelling visual content that inspires and engages audiences across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and brainstorm creative video ideas aligned with marketing objectives
- Plan, film, and edit video content for use across websites, social media platforms, and digital campaigns
- Develop and present creative concepts and storyboards
- Execute full post-production workflows, including reviewing footage, rough cuts, sound mixing, colour correction, motion graphics, and final edits using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Create multiple content outputs from a single shoot (e.g. reels, shorts, clips, long-form videos, stories)
- Capture both video and still photography content, including editing and postprocessing images
- Film on location in remote bush environments and at our campuses
- Record and edit voice-overs where required
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to ensure brand alignment
- Adapt content style to suit different platforms, audiences, and brand needs
- Manage project archiving, file organization, and secure backups upon completion
Requirements
- Strong visual storytelling ability with a creative, solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent photography and videography skills, including proficiency with camera equipment
- High level of computer literacy and technical competence
- Experience with sound recording and mixing
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
- Physically fit and able to work long hours when required
- Comfortable creating live content, stories, and real-time social media material
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Film, Video, Media, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Social media and digital content creation experience
