About the Role
We are urgently seeking a Parts Salesman to join our team at Eklutna Trading 9 in Durban Central. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring customer needs are met and driving sales growth through effective marketing and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure customers’ needs are met, including answering queries, quoting, taking orders, accepting payment, dispatching, and providing after-sales satisfaction
- Execute online marketing efforts, including adverts, to promote products and attract new customers
- Conduct cold calls and represent existing customers to meet sales targets
- Maintain and grow product knowledge, gathering information on local market trends
- Foster good interactions and build relationships with existing customers
- Comply with company policies, procedures, regulations, quality standards, and management direction
- Communicate with supervisors regarding customer concerns and employee matters
- Support store operations by assisting with stock control, maintenance of company assets, store upkeep, and general administration as needed
- Liaise with other branches and head office to fulfill business, communication, and national coverage requirements
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in motor parts or knowledge of motor parts
- Experience in sales (optional)
- Matric/equivalent with maths/maths lit at least 50% (optional)
- Valid driver’s license with no outstanding fines
- Computer literacy and strong verbal and written communication skills
