About the Role
Eklutna Trading 9 is seeking a Parts Salesman to join our team in Kempton Park. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring customer needs are met and driving sales growth through effective marketing and relationship-building efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure customers’ needs are met by answering queries, quoting, taking orders, accepting payment, dispatching products, and providing after-sales satisfaction and requesting feedback.
- Execute marketing strategies, including online adverts, cold calling, and representing new customers.
- Meet and exceed individual and team performance targets.
- Maintain and grow product knowledge and gather information on local market trends.
- Foster good interaction and build relationships with existing customers.
- Comply with policies, procedures, regulations, quality standards, and management direction.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding customer concerns and employee matters.
- Support store operations by assisting with stock control (including receiving and dispatching), maintaining company assets, store upkeep, and general administration as needed.
- Liaise with other branches/head office to fulfill business, communication, and national coverage requirements and obligations.
- Perform errands and driving tasks as required.
Requirements
- At least 1 of the following:
- Experience in motor parts or knowledge of motor parts
- Experience in sales
- Matric/equivalent with maths/maths lit at least 50%
- Drivers license with no outstanding fines
- Computer literacy and strong verbal and written communication skills
