About the Role
Drive operational excellence in procurement within a high-performance professional services environment. Take ownership of systems, processes, and governance while shaping a smarter, more efficient procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day procurement operations and ensure policy compliance
- Oversee purchase order workflows, supplier onboarding, and documentation accuracy
- Maintain ERP systems, vendor data integrity, and approved supplier lists
- Deliver monthly spend reporting, insights, and procurement analytics
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process and workflow improvements
- Supervise and support a team of Procurement Administrators
- Manage supplier lifecycle, due diligence, and performance tracking
- Coordinate RFP, RFQ, and sourcing processes including evaluation and reporting
- Oversee contract governance, renewals, and repository management
- Support BBBEE compliance and preferential procurement tracking
- Ensure audit readiness and accurate record keeping across procurement activities
Requirements
- 57 years of procurement experience in an operationally focused role
- Relevant degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration
- Experience leading or supervising a procurement team
- Strong ERP system experience and data governance capability
- Exposure to process improvement and workflow redesign
- Solid Excel skills and reporting capability
- Understanding of contract management and supplier negotiations
- Knowledge of BBBEE procurement requirements is advantageous
- High attention to detail with strong compliance discipline
