About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Shift Manager to oversee the production of animal feed at our Bethlehem facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing production processes, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular quality control checks on feed ingredients & final product
- Manufacture feed according to formulas & quality standards
- Ensure staff follow procedures & maintain production discipline
- Troubleshoot production issues & equipment malfunctions quickly
- Minimise downtime through proactive problem-solving
- Maintain accurate records
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers
- Implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
Requirements
- Tertiary Qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in similar environment
