About the Role
Our client in the mining industry is looking for an experienced SHEQ Manager to join their team based in Burgersfort, Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SHEQ management systems and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate risks
- Ensure compliance with COID, ODIMWA, and OHSA legislations
- Manage and monitor SHEQ performance metrics
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Degree/Ndip in Safety Management
- Matric
- SAMTRAC + Risk management certificate
- ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 Implementation, NEHBOSH, ICAM
- Familiarity with the COID, ODIMWA and OHSA legislations
- 8+ years relevant experience in the mining industry

Salary: R1.4M/yr – R1.6M/yr, negotiable
