Job Description
An established and globally aligned organisation within the construction and forestry sector is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Regional Pricing Analyst to join their Marketing and Sales division. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple international regions, contributing to pricing strategy, profitability, and market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and recommend pricing and incentive strategies for new and existing products across Africa, Australia/New Zealand, and other global regions
- Analyse competitive pricing data and market trends to inform pricing decisions
- Evaluate discretionary discount requests from dealers and provide data-driven recommendations
- Monitor net price positioning in relation to market share, margins, and profitability targets
- Collaborate with Marketing teams to design and implement incentive programmes
- Prepare and distribute incentive communication to dealer networks
- Respond to pricing-related queries and provide guidance to internal stakeholders and dealers
- Maintain pricing data integrity and ensure compliance with audit requirements
- Support incentive budget planning and track performance through monthly reporting
- Monitor currency fluctuations and assess impact on pricing strategies
- Provide input to global pricing teams on transfer pricing data
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail
- 3 – 6 years as a pricing analyst in a global/ multinational company (preferably manufacturing/ motor/ construction/ agriculture)
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in presenting to various audiences
- Strong systems literacy and ability to work with data tools
- Ability to collaborate with global teams across different time zones
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence without authority
Advantageous
- Experience within construction, forestry, or related industries
- Understanding of financial metrics such as profitability, margins, and return measures
- Exposure to pricing strategies, incentive programmes, or commercial analysis
- Project management experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional and team-based environments
